We do not access private records, credit files, or non-public data. Coverage, completeness, and update cadence vary by county.

No. PropertyShield+ is a monitoring and notification service. We cannot stop a filing from being recorded, and we do not guarantee that every filing will be detected, that alerts will arrive within a specific timeframe, or that any fraudulent activity will be prevented, detected, or reversed. What we do is notify you when supported new activity appears in available records so you can follow up with your county, attorney, or title company.

Automated monitoring of public property records is currently available for U.S. properties, where county recorder and assessor offices publish digital land records. Coverage and update timing vary by county — some publish within days, others take longer or don't publish digitally at all. If you own a U.S. property but live abroad, you can sign up from anywhere. If the property itself is outside the U.S., automated record monitoring isn't available yet; the document vault, reminders, and organization tools still work, and you can email info@propertyshieldplus.com to be notified as coverage expands.

Enter the address on the home page or during onboarding and we'll check it against the record sources available for that area. If we can match it, monitoring is set up for that property. If we can't match it yet, you'll see a coverage-pending notice, we queue the address for review, and we email you if and when coverage becomes available. You can also email info@propertyshieldplus.com with the address for a pre-signup check.

Alert timing depends on two things: when the relevant public record actually becomes available from the county, and your plan's notification cadence (Starter is a monthly digest, Plus is weekly, Premium includes priority multi-property monitoring with more frequent delivery). Because counties publish on their own schedules, we can't promise same-day or real-time notification.

No. Availability depends on whether the jurisdiction publishes usable digital property records. Some counties publish on a delay, use non-standard parcel formats, or don't publish digitally. Where we can't monitor, we tell you rather than showing an empty result.

Yes. Starter covers 1 property, Plus covers up to 3, and Premium covers up to 10. You can switch which property your dashboard focuses on at any time.

Starter is $14.99/month, Plus is $24.99/month, and Premium is $49/month, with about two months free on annual billing. Subscriptions renew automatically at the listed price until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard — no phone calls and no cancellation fees — and access continues through the end of the paid period.

You'll land on a confirmation page, then a short setup flow: confirm the property address you want monitored, confirm how you want to be notified by email, and optionally upload documents to your vault. Once the address is set up, your dashboard shows its monitoring status and any detected activity.

Cancel from Dashboard → Subscription in one click, or email info@propertyshieldplus.com. Your subscription stops renewing immediately, you keep access until the end of the current billing period, and your documents remain downloadable for 30 days afterward.
